Thistle was created by members of the LGBTQIA+ Community who recognised that hair removal is as integral a part of gender affirmation as hormone therapy. We understand that the process can be scary and stressful and we work to provide a warm inviting space to assist you on your journey.

Electrolysis is the only method of permanent hair removal recognised by the TGA. Other methods like laser and IPL offer “hair reduction”. Gender affirming surgery often requires electrolysis prior.

We don’t offer free initial consultations, but provide a rebate on your first session of electrolysis.
